Inspiration and Ideas for Your Photo Shoot
If you find any inspiration on Pinterest or online, feel free to email me that inspiration so I really know how you would like to be photographed. Try not to bring in lots of one color, and bring in a variety of different clothes. All of the strong primary colors photograph beautifully; in fact anything that suits you will photograph well. I find fitted outfits photograph better than loose outfits, so that is something to consider if you have a cocktail dress in your wardrobe that you love. Even if it doesn’t zip up, I can still photograph you in it. The clothes that you bring in are very important and they will tell me how you would like to be photographed. You can be casual or as glamorous as you choose!
Tips on How to Enhance Your Photographs
Do you have your hair cut and colored regularly? Are you due to have your hair colored? You should book your hairstyling appointment the week before and consider you might want to get your nails done, facial, and a spray tan if those are things you get done regularly.
How to Prepare For Your Photo Shoot
- Do Laundry
Remove lint and press if needed. Tighten all bra straps for some extra lift.
- Polish Your Jewelry
Wedding rings and other jewelry should sparkle.
- Get Organized
Group coordinating pieces of ensemble together on the same hanger, top, bottom, bra and necklace.
- Arrive Comfortable
Wear a comfy outfit to your photo shoot this is what you will be wearing during styling, so choose something easy to remove without messing up your hair and makeup.

With the chance to wear several different outfits, you can aim for a variety of styles. Try to bring outfits that are unique in color and mood. You can bring in dresses, favorite jeans, a lovely blouse, or even lingerie. Here are some ideas for you:
Light and Fun
Bring something in a light shade of blush, nude, cream or white.
Dark and Smoldering
Black, Charcoal or Navy will work.
Sexy
This can be an understated sexy in a backless formal gown, or a backless formal gown, or a more overt sexy in beautiful lingerie.

This photo shoot is the perfect opportunity to dress like a princess or movie star and a great excuse to go shopping. You might even rent, borrow, or custom make your dream outfit. For some models it might be a fairytale ball gown. For others it might be a red dress or black negligee.
